Yin Qiao Jie Du Wan is best used when symptoms arise. This formula is one that we keep with us at all times. When taken at the “first signs” of illness, including sore throat, congestion, nasal drainage, cough, headache, achiness, etc., this formula excels at clearing these symptoms before they turn into deeper conditions such as sinus infections, bronchitis, etc. This is also an excellent formula for preventing illness and boosting the immunity while traveling or others around you are getting sick.
Gan Mao Ling Wan is a general formulation for the common cold after it has started to move deeper into the body. Used for cough, sore and achy body, headaches, sinusitis, and flu symptoms. This formula has been traditionally used to symptoms related to influenza, common cold, laryngitis, and early stage of tonsillitis.
Qing Qi Hua Tan Wan This formula is excellent for a cough that has developed during the later stages of a cold when the cold has moved into the chest. Common symptoms include cough with productive, yellow phlegm, tightness and fullness in the chest, wheezing and shortness of breath, greasy, white or yellow tongue coating.
